If its wrong, then I'm glad I'm not right.
I'm a lesbian and I am very happily in love with my girlfriend of close to 3 years (I'm 20 years old). It hasn't been all roses... As a matter of fact, my home life became hell after I came out to my parents.
I'd be remiss if I didn't at least mention that its natural to be curious without actually being anything but heterosexual. Some people even believe that there's no such thing as a COMPLETE heterosexual or homosexual and that we're all, to some degree, bisexual... at least until society makes us decide otherwise.
Whatever the truth is, the only thing that matters is that you're as true as possible to yourself. And if you're seriously confused or just need someone to talk to, there are lots of people you can turn to. As much as they might wish it was them, its totally understandable why you might not want to go to your parents... at least not at first. If you have a gay friend that you can trust, speak with them. There are LOTS of support groups for gay teens, too. You'd be surprised how much help you can find in the Yellow Pages. Your school may even have a counselor.
Most people who say homosexuality is bad point at the Bible... and that's fine. But I always say that God made me, too... and if God made me gay, then who are we to question? The Bible was written by people... men... mortals who were fallible and could easily make mistakes or misinterpret what they were supposed to write. God will judge us all. There are far too many examples of the horrific results of religious intolerance to allow someone so blinded by their faith to be taken with any seriousness.

Guys usually split hairs over women switch hittng, but condemn other guy when they are gay.
Whether or not it is bad is a matter of opinion. I mean honestly, who I am I to judge who you choose to lay down with or decide what your definition of happiness is?
If it makes you feel good, go for it however, regarding liking your friend, you could really be flirting with losing this friend one, for coming clean about being gay, and next if you make a move on them. You need to balance the needs of your friendship versus the needs of your sexuality.
I hope this works out for you.

You may not care about this part, but it is bad because God said it is, so it really doesnt matter what a person thinks or likes or what they use to justify something. Now I know that no one wants to hear that or admit it anymore. But think about it. If a whole lot of us got together and said we felt it moral and okay and fine with us to kick your door in everynight and scare the living hell out of you, would it be okay? Would it be moral simply because a lot of people said they thought it okay to do or had no problem with it? Would it really matter to you what people thought or how they viewed it? You would still see it as wrong, would you not?
Everyone just wants to do what they want and still feel like they are a good person. Wanting to believe something is normal or moral or okay doesnt make it so. And also remember that you have a right to act as you wish, but you have no right to tell others how they must view you or what you do. You certainly have no right to demand respect or to be seen as normal or good or okay, just because you are comfortable with what you do.
I mean, history is replete with those who were comfortable with what they did in commiting horrid acts and causing many to die but we still say they were wrong and immoral.

i think there is nothing wrong with being homosexual. u cant help who u love. people only say its bad because society has built it up to be such a horrible thing. Now im a semi religious person...but about god not intending it to be that way...who wrote the bible??? MAN... not god. being gay bi lesbian or curious about the same sex is totally fine.

No, it's not bad at all. Anyone who tells you so needs their head examined. They'll quote you some obscure Bible verse or just tell you "it's bad"...whatever.
Intolerance is the stuff of fools, and you'll see that there are plenty out there. Don't worry about what others think. Follow your heart.
Ignorance is all too common in matters like these. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks...it only matters what you think.
Have a great night.

Of course it's not wrong! Being homosexual is something that no one can control, like eyecolor. Is having brown eyes wrong? No, of course not, so why is something else that is beyong your control wrong? *sigh* don't listen to these people who tell you "it's not how god made you" well, (if you believe in god) yes it is, and do you think he could have made a mistake? Just be yourself, that's all you can be, so relish in it and just be happy!

yes b/c it is not natural. if god wanted two girls to be together or two guys to be together he would have made a way for them to reproduce. It is normal to like your friend what you are feeling is not a sexual attraction at first, but if you follow it it will lead to one. love is something you can and should have for anyone including ppl of the same sex. I think you are just confused about your feelings.
