Parents went out...came home to find these kids their.
The girl told her parenst she only invited two people...and they made her drink..started crying...she named who "did it".....and then her parents called the police. Three boys and a girl were arrested...several charges for each.
All kids say she had her own beer plus other stuff she took from her parents.
They ones that got arrested did bring alcohol too(one of the charges)...but did not force her.

Nope. I don't care what any kid says.... no one can FORCE them to drink anything. I've been there... no one forced me to do anything.

Only if she was held down and they stuck a tube down her throat would I believe the forced bit. She may have felt pressured to drink, though.
Coming down hard on her could result in one of two things: A) she learns to say no to her friends to stupid stuff, or B) she learns not to get caught.
Drinking is hazardous, and if she ever feels "forced" to do anything, she should learn to get out of the situation and call home for a ride. This goes for dates that go wrong, drugs, anything. One teacher told me that she told her kids, "Blame it all on me -- I have broad shoulders, and I don't mind being the uncool mom. Tell 'em 'my mom will kill me if . . . '" I think that's excellent advice.

No i do not belive that. If she was forced like held down and was made to drink it then why isn't she pressing charges against the people that done it?
I am 27 years old and have never drank before and i have been around people that do/have drunk and when they offer me i say no. No one can make you do anything you don't want to do.
I don't believe her story

You again! She drank because she wanted to. That's what kids do. I'm only 20, I have my own apartment, I work a job, pay my bills, buy my food, clean my messes, BUT because I'm not 21 I'm not mature enough to drink alcohol? Well, I do anyways! Its like under age smoking; If the person wants to bad enough, they'll find a way!

I think long and hard about her not doing it on her own. I know you can be forced in to it but that's by holding her down and poring it in her mouth, but if it happened that way some one would be talking. Just having your friends hounding you about it is not foursing you, and I have to ask what kinds of friends are the girl and your son's friends are like.

No, I wouldn't.
Unless they held her down and physically poured it into her mouth, it was her decision.
I know that peer pressure is great, but kids are still smart enough to make their own decisions, especially at that age.
I have a 17 year old, and he makes wrong decisions sometimes; not because he doesn't know any better, but because he choses not to do better.
Sounds like a child who either always get away with stuff because it's someone else's fault or one who is afraid of consequences.

How old is the daughter? Where were the chaperones if she was under 21?
I'd make sure that she doesn't go to parties with these kids till she's older.
If the party was at your house, and if there were minors there, and alcohol, this is bad news. You could get arrested.

she was not forced but peer pressure is a big thing and u should take that into consideration but ban her from being around those people anymore. and if she doesn't comply then put here in a alcohol rehab center for a couple of days.

yes, peer pressure. I would believe her. She would look stupid if she didn't drink. I never drank at parties and I still don't drink. I don't care what other people think about me, I don't need to drink to make other people feel better or myself get on a high. Her parents should have explained this to her.

I can agree. unless they did something like tie her down or held her against her will and put it down her throat she drank it. I had a prob with my daughter lying so I busted her *** for every time she lied or snuck out(Not bruising her bottom. Just enough to wake her up) and she stopped. I also set the alarm at night time and when it goes off and she is either coming in or going out I make her clean with a toothbrush for 4 hours cleaning house.

No. If she was the one that threw the party definitely not. If that's the case, then she should press charges because the only way someone could really force you to do something is through physical means.
