There are many things you can do, but eating right and exercising regularly is the best.
When I was in high school I wanted to get a bit leaner before starting college, so I began to watch what I ate and exercise regularly.
I cut most junk food from my diet such as candy, desserts, soda, but I would keep a cheat day where I could have a fattening treat once a week. That way I wouldn't go crazy craving the foods that I would regularly eat before.
I would also exercise 3-4 times a week. I don't think any of my exercise sessions would go over 40 minutes. During that time I lost a good 25-30lbs.
The best way to help burn fat is to perform aerobics, but lifting weights can also help if you don't mind building muscles while you're at it.
With the New Year right around the corner, you should check out the latest issue of Muscle & Fitness, they usually have an issue at the start of the year for people who try to make losing weight a resolution and there's always some good tips within the magazine.

there are abunch of wieghtloss programs that say lose ten pounds in ten weeks, but those aer not healthy. what you lose is water, not fat, and that can be very harmful. nothing is better than disciplined diet and exercise. that is the only healthly way. let nobody tell you different. go by the food pyramid, that why it is there, and hit the gym. lifting will be difficult and women actually gain wieght first. that is because when muscle developes, it first developes under the fat that has not been burned off yet. this is around week six of your workout routine. do not fret because after that is when it begins to burn off and you tone up and slim down. good look and dont give up because you look and feel great.

I know you probably have heard this a million times but....
1. Find some excercise you like doing (it is easier to do excercise if you do it with friends).... Heck an excercise machine in front of the TV might work
2. Do that excercise frequently
3. Try an alternative meal plan... try eating many small meals a day instead of 3 large meals a day.... this keeps your body burning the most fat at all times
4. Drink a lot of water (8 glasses)
5. Stop drinking regular soda (if you are)... try diet sodas
6.(If applicable) don't drink many alcoholic beverages they are high in calories

drink lots of water first off. no one will really lose any weight without drinking their 8 glasses of water. Next, cut your calorie intake from lets say 2000 calories to 1500 calories. Eat more chicken and fish and vegetables. Eat fruits in moderation and limit yourself on sweet things.
I know it all sounds crappy and what not, but that is the only way to lose wieght and maintain it, is to get a good diet and good discipline with it in order to maintain your weight.

your still young, The best way to lose weight fast is by dieting and exercise. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy natural foods and do Pilate's yoga and if possible ( since its winter) running.
Don't worry if you do this, you will lose that weight in no time at all! Good luck

you definitely can lose that amount in that time.
it has to be diet. food is the key to everything. you know what is good for you and what is bad so just keep it simple and stick to it as much as possible.
you can exercise your butt off but if you're eating chocolate bars everyday, nothing will change.
to accelerate healthy weight loss, add some work outs with that healthy food and it will just fly off.
it is the only way.

i wouldn't suggest dieting, what i found works well is to eat what you want, but eating in smaller portions that usual. OR just simply eating healthy.
Exercise as well! Exercise a few times a week to keep in shape. You'll notice results soon enough.

YOU REALLY WANT TO SHED THOSE POUNDS DO WHAT I DID < GREEN TEA >honest it really works I tried all kinds of diets I even tried pills please don't try that. Just do normal exercise, and drink the green tea ,Drink it hot ,iced ,with lemon or lime, just drink it when ever your thirsty,don't forget you also need to drink water. your gonna pp alot. but you won't retain water . the pounds will just come off & stay off.........GOOD LUCK
