If your pregnancy test is negative, it's because you're testing too early. If you honestly think that you're pregnant, and you can tell a difference this early on, then waiting until at least the day your period is supposed to arrive to test should not be that big of a deal. If you absolutely have to know, the only way to find out is to go to your doctor and have an HCg level drawn, because levels in your bloodstream are detectable long before urine tests are.

If you are currently two weeks before you expect your period, then you are likely in your ovulation phase, meaning THIS is the time when you could conceive. You could not have pregnancy symptoms from a baby conceived during this cycle just yet. Also, generally, breast tenderness is one of the last symptoms to arrive in early pregnancy, and is usually not noticable very early on,though this differs as all women differ! If you do conceive now during this cycle, you can try testing the day you expect your period. testing earlier than this can result in a false positive result as there may not be enough detectable hormones in the urine yet. Good Luck!

A blood test can get it earlier, My first pregnancy I had a whole week of negs before the test came out pos. Wait a week or so and use that early response test or go get a blood test, tender breasts is a pretty good pregnancy indicator. Trust you instincts.

I tell women wait to see if you miss your next period and then use an EPT.
