Yes.As if it's not enough that his/her parents are distraught, there are many resources that play in investigating a missing person not to mention the tax dollars that are spent during the investigation. Does the fact that he may not actually be missing have any effect on your morality in terms of someone who does seriously merit the same attention? If it does, then inform the detectives that he made contact with you. If he is missing, his IP address can help detectives determine where he was at when he sent you the e-mail. The ISP can also have other pertinent information as to the account holder on the computer used.

what would you want your bf/gf to do if it was you on TV and your mother and father were the ones on TV begging for someone, anyone to give them information on you.do you think that it is fair to their parents-they are worried out of their minds-these are their children-I think that you should tell their parents that they emailed you but you don't know where they are and let their parents go to the police with that information-then if the police come to you all you can tell them is the same thing that you told their parents-if your bf/gf had to have run away because how did they get where they are-if something bad happen to them you will wish that you had said something to somebody-than you will be on a guilt trip

Wow, this is serious, but you need to tell the truth. If you know what happened because she told you, tell her that for her safety's sake you are going to send her back to her parents arms safe, regardless of what she says and act immediately before she can get away. It is better that she gets back home safe than who knows what. Tell your parents or call the polilce.

Of course.. are you stupid? Their parents are worried? What kind of question is this? Either this is a joke or you don't even have a heart for what the parents are going through. Hopefully it won't be you as a parent someday.

At least tell his/her parents that he's ok and alive.
That's just cruel to leave the parents scared like that, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
