I don't think there is anything around our house that my son HASN'T destroyed, or at least left his mark on. This goes for inanimate objects and livings things alike! Furniture, plants, pets....nothing is ever safe! Walls and doors get wrote/drawn on, carpets get stained, dishes end up broken, plants start missing leaves or dying off, the cat's missing tufts of fur ....And nevermind peace and quiet. That's the first thing to go. Followed by one's sanity.

A much shorter list is what can't they destroy if they are determined to destroy it all.. Looking around my house I have come up with the cast iron wood stove (It's gonna be here with Keith Richards and cockroaches after nuclear war), my front window it's bullet proof glass (Had it installed after the it broke due to a rock and lawn mower accident, a husband with poor stopping skills when backing up, and a football scrimmage gone wrong 16 yr old boys look rather shocked when they end the play on the livingroom floor instead of outside (All break occured in a 6 moth period of time ) The window sill is only 3 inches above the lawn and at $850.00 a pop to replace it each time spending $2,400.00 for bullet proof glass and concrete and rebar posts was economical if not exactly asthetically pleasing... LOL
The rest a kid can destroy if they are determined...

The real question is can you name something in our house that your children aren't capable of destroying. : ) My daughter *18 months* seems to do a number on her clothes the most. I think I've done about a million and five loads of laundry and used about every stain removal product ever since she was born. The child is a natural dirt magnet.

They're destroying the #@& Christmas tree! Otherwise, they'll destroy the walls by drawing on them with non-washable crayons and markers.

they can destroy dishes, they can make easy messes and knock things down like valueable antiques. etc. but keep those kind of things out of reach. and dont let them reach for any toxic chemicals like bleach, drainer stuff etc. because children can get killed easily by that unsuporvised.
