I have extremely long hair and nobody has ever even suggested that I donate it. They say things like "How did you get it so long? and Don't ever cut it." Both my daughters have the hair thing gene from me.... my youngest one at 16 cut her hair to her shoulders and donated it without my knowledge.... I was really upset at first, not because she donated it, and not because she did it without me knowing, but simply because I thought she had beautiful hair and I did not want it cut.... oh, well.... it will grow back out and I'm sure she will donate it again...

Well, I don't qualify because I cut my knee length hair off years ago. But yes, a lot of people said I should donate it. I guess I didn't really care one way or another because I was 19 at the time, and I was more worried about losing all of that hair.

I still can't remember if I donated it or not.

good, i don't qualify with the aid of reality I cut back my knee length hair off years interior the previous. yet constructive, quite some human beings reported I ought to donate it. i assume i did not incredibly care one way or yet yet another with the aid of reality i substitute into 19 on the time, and that i substitute into better demanding approximately dropping all of that hair. I although won't be in a position to bear in mind if I donated it or not.

I dont have very long hair, but one of my old roommates did, It was a beautiful, thick long blonde hair to her thighs. People would ask her to sell it for a wig most of the times, but once in awhile when she got a trim the stylist said if she ever thought about donating it they know of places that would take it.

More like curiosity than pressure, a 'why on earth would you want all that hair?!' reaction.

Incidentally, I have donated in the past and intend on doing it again.

i've never had knee lenght or longer hair, it was just short of my waist line and i got asked to donate it all the time...but that was because i had red/auburn hair that's kinda rare so they thought i should "share." I eventually cut it but it was in such bad shape that i couldn't donate it.

I got asked all the time.
I did eventually cut it because I have really thick hair and the weight was giving me headaches.

I think people say that becuase they are thinking of others that dont have hair because of some illness or something like that.

I donated my hair to the "Locks of Love" I do know that they make wigs for children that loose their hair because of cancer treatments.
