Usually you get the yearly license when you get the rabies shot. Different parts of the country vary on how often you have to get certain shots and licenses. Check with your vet or local animal control to see what is required in your area.

Usually one of two places: Either your City Hall/Town Office or your vet's office. Where I live now it's the vet, however, most places it it you City Hall. Fees also vary greatly depending on where you are. I've heard of anywhere from $10 for a neutered/spayed dog up to $50 or more for unneutered/spayed dogs in some large citys, especially if the city has a high stray population.

We just renewed our licenses today - usually your city or county requires a license to keep a pet. Ours cost $15/dog per year if the animal is altered. Otherwise it's $50/yr. Check with your local animal shelter (that's where we get our licenses) and ask them what the ordinance is where you live.

Usually u have to get the license through the animal shelter, or if u have a vet u might be able to get one through him. one thing they do make sure of is that u get the dog a rabbi shot. if it is a puppy, once u get the rabbi shot the vet sends in the paper work and the the animal shelter or animal control will send u a form to fill out and once u fill that out and pay the fee they will send u a license for ur dog.

It depends on where you live. In some states/cities it is through the local animal shelter or Humane Society.

Seeing that its a "German" shepard, make sure that his immigrant documents are not expired, or he will be deported. Or when you go to the vet, for the license, spot them a $50, and they will let you slide.

Town hall. It's usually more expensive if your pet is not spayed or neutered. Thank you for being a responsible owner!!!
