I use to only eat tomato soup made with water BUT LET ME TELL YOU....I decided to try it with milk and I now refuse to have it made with water. It is so much richer in flavor when made with milk. Enjoy!!!

I don't like tomato soup really but I make it for my husband with milk.

Although in middle school we had to make it for home ec. class and we had one girl make it with a half can of milk and half can of water. I think that's what made me not like it anymore. That was the nastiest soup I had ever tasted!

Usually, if you bought tomato soup in a can .. you don't have to add any water or milk. All you have to do is transfer the tomato soup into a microwable bowl and heat it up or if you don't have a microwave you can also heat the soup up using a pot and the stove.

Milk is better, but water does the job if you don't have milk and it does not taste as good as milk in it.

I've always made it with water. My husband, I discovered, makes it with milk, which totally grosses me out. Although it is still edible.

I agree. That sounds disgusting. My mom always uses heavy cream and sautees her onions, garlic, etc before adding it to the soup and hers is always amazing!
