how much to sell my designer pups for? i made Mini St.Bernards, Yorkipits, Chi-Apso and Rott-Tzus.Beutifull!♥

I have hapilly made 4 NEW, RARE designer breeds and i want to now sell the babies!
I made Tcup St.Bernards (1st litter of tcup bernards, 3m and 2f in the litter, non-shedding as crosed w/ tcup poodle, all apricot colouring) and not sure how much to sell them for. I was thinking $1100 for males and $1300 females?
i also make BEUTIFULL Yorkipits by crossing my male Yorki with my sisters Pitbull and I got 7 pups (6f and 1m) and they r all beautifuly marked. all are white with brindle, blue and black markings. was thinking $750 ea? might increase price as beautiful, rare, mini dogs. wont be more than 15lb when full grown.
Chi-Apso puppies are beutiful! i croesd my male lhasa w/ female chi and i got 4 pupis (2m, 2f). wont b more than 5lb fully grown. all white wit blue & chocolate markings. was thinking $2200 each??
And my perfect Rott-Tzus!! I got 9 pups (6m, 3f) croesd fem rott w/ male shihtzu. all coloured rott colours, 1 m has all tzu colurs. no idea wot 2 price them?

Oh and dont call me a bakcyeard breeder! i care about the pupys and will take them back at any stage in life! screan my dogs for most health problems and only buy them from rep. breedser w/ champion bloodlines.

i have done this before and i am responsible with my dogs. i dont breed more than once a year (MAYBE TWICE, DEPENDING ON STOCK DEMAND) and i vacc, worm, micro chip, flea all my puppyes before selling them,. i make a good profit and a good living off breeding so i dont think i will stop. all the dogs i have bred have lived up to ATL;EAST 7 yrs old.

these r DESIGNER breeds, they are NOT mutts or r they allowed to be dumped at a shelter.

i make them sign a contract to desex them unless they pay an additional $320 for breeding rights.

i also have a 5 yr health guarentee BUT I do still take them back if they r not wanted.

i dont have any pics yet because they r all undr 5 weeks old and not ready 2 b sold. i will post them in a newspaper (am in Australia so i use the trading post, And I DO ship my puppies.. furthest has been Texas (thanks 2 a friend of mine w/ a few contacts in USA) but i will post them soon.

I am not "SICK!" how am i sick if i offer such great family pets?

i offer RARE DESIGNER breeds! i have been breeding for over 5 yrs and i have sold ALL litters! i have never had to give one away or kill one because EVERYONE is willingh to pay such a small price for such fantasric dogs.

i kno that u all think im dumb but im not.
im not adverising here, im asking how much i should sell them for!
any other comments r useless to me.

i can breed them because the people i get te dogs from, dont care/!

You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. You are a backyard breeder. You're not a registered breeder, you're breeding mutts. "designer breed" is exactly the same as a mutt. Surely you can't be that delusional.

Your poor dogs to have such an ignorant owner. If you had actually gotten your dogs from a reputable breeder and had told them what you were doing with their dogs they would be absolutely horrified and demand you return their dogs at once.

Dogs should never be bred for money or to meet demand! They should be bred for the betterment of the breed. A true reputable breeder is registered with their canine council and only breeds for the betterment for the breed- they never make a profit because so much money has gone into the welfare of their dogs. Seeing as you're breeding mutts. Not an official breed, you're not registered and you're breeding to make money you meet all the criteria for a backyard breeder.

Just because people buy your dogs doesn't mean what you're doing is right or that they'll make good owners. It just means that they're as ignorant as you are.

I just wanted to basically agree w/ all the other answers. There is NO such thing as a designer breed . . you are mass producing mutts. I don't think there is anything wrong with mutts - all dogs deserve equal love, but it is just wrong to breed them on purpose. Do you not think we have enough of these in shelters? So many of these get put to sleep every day due to the over population because of people like you. All you see in these (poor) dogs are dollar signs, which is pathetic. And for the record . . 7 years IS NOT A LONG LIFE SPAN for a dog!!!!!! If that alone does not tell you something is wrong with your "breeding" . . . then there probably is no getting through to you. For the sake of the pups you do have, I hope all find good homes and that they are more responsible than you are and decide to spay/neuter.

Even though you probably won't listen . . I hope at least one of us will get through to you . . .

You are out of your mind. I cannot believe you think you have justified your actions! What you have done is disgusting and sickening!!! You have taken wonderful dogs and turned them in to monsters! You ARE a backyard breeder! You are selfish for only money!! I repeat, you ARE a backyard breeder! You have done no homework, no reseach, no good to the dog world!!

You could have easily killed the yorkies and/or the Shih-Tzus by breeding them with those larger breeds.
And the St. Bernard was bred to be a gentle giant...how dare you play god and downsize them to a sickening level!!!

I sincerely hope you made all this up just to get some anger out of people, which is stupid in it of itself, but it you did commit these monstrosities, I would be terribly ashamed to know you.

Even if you have made all this up, why would you? Just to insult all of us in the rescue groups? It breaks my heart that there are people out there like you who find it cute that two dogs can be bred together to make a new shape of dog. Not a new breed, just a new shape.

This is the most disgusting thing I have ever read. Why the heck would you cross those breeds???? Anyone with brains should realize that you are actually selling mutts for hundreds of dollars!!! They could go to an animal shelter and get one for less than $50!!! Thousands of dogs die everyday because people are so careless and stupid! Dogs are not fads or trends that people can throw away when they go out of style. Do you realize how many genetic, behavioural, and health problems these dogs will have? Every breed has it's own genetic and so on problems. So you took two breeds and compounded the problems into one! How smart was that?? You obviously have a lot to learn about dogs and animals. Maybe you should start back in grade school so you can learn how to spell and use grammer! Disgusting!!

I do not agree with back yard breeding as there is too many unwanted pets in this world that have been abandoned because people do not want them anymore.

As far as people saying you cannot register a mixed breed dog i cannot agree with that because look at the puggles, beagle and pug, these are mixed breeds. Technically all dogs are mixed with something and called pure breds, But i do not agree with unlicensed breeders trying to make a differant breed and selling them for profit.

I really do not believe you mean any wrong, but you are on here right now trying to get a rise out of people and it looks to me that you succeeded on that one.
When it comes to back yard breeding people are so against it, and you ask why???? LOOK AT THE SHELTERS and how many get euthanized every day in this world.

firstly, after reading everybodys answers to this question, im kinder nervous about getting involved. But i just wanna say, i am also from australia and i get the trading post regularly. in fact, a thurs afternoon has become a sort of laughable book club meeting due to all the ridiculous so called designer puppys that are becoming more and more available.. i really doubt it that you are taking this site seriously. i mean, do you have a cyber death wish?? on the other hand... why dont all you rightwinger types get off your FLAT screens and start doing something real with your complaints? there is a market for these dogs and while that exists, people will buy these dogs and have a plan to make thousands of dollars through their own cross bred mutts. and excuse me for asking but weren't purebreds made from inbreeding generally? wake up and attack the people buying these dogs.

You are obviously a psycho puppy mill. You answer every negative comment with a reply defending your self. Also, your puppies all live to be at least 7 years old??????? I have never had a dog not live far past that. My last dog was almost 18 when we put him down. My brothers cocker spaniel was almost 18. You are taking advantage of people by charging so much for a mutt. How can you know how big a dog is going to be if you hav never seen what an adult looks like?

First of all, there is no such thing as a non-shedding St. Bernard (I have St. Bernard's) and second, there is no way you can breed a tea cup, they couldn't get that small! You need to look up what tea cup means! I know there are stupid people born every day but you found out its not alot of them on this board! If you found suckers to believe your story, you should call Ripley's!!! You should not be aloud to have any animals if this is how they are treated. Also, try spell check...it works!

Congratulations! You have created some mixed breed dogs, just like the millions that already die in shelters, all the time. By irresponsibly breeding, you have caused the death of a shelter dog that could very well have gone to the home where your dog is going.
Also, how can you predict the weight of these dogs if they are just puppies now? You can't.

You are a backyard breeder, a moneymaking thief. The prices you want are disgusting.
MUTTS create overwhelmed shelters and contribute to millions of euthanized puppies and dogs every year.
Work in the shelter for a few days, volunteer your time, see how many animals are overbred.
