I have never had a negative response from a guy about my hair, guys usually say "wow, a redhead!"

My husband remembered me from a hockey game when I was 16 years old and we didn't properly meet til about 6 years later...I made an impression on him, obviously, so what does that tell you about redheads?

As for wearing red, it depends on the shade of the red in the clothes and the shade of your hair, my hair is almost a blonde and certain reds look really good on me and others make me look like death warmed over...just try red things till you find the right color...Go for it!

Redheads have a reputation for being troublesome which is false and a reputation for being promiscuous which is also false. This comes from an ancient stigmata that is hard to cure. In Roman times having red hair practically condemned you to life as a prostitute and in Egypt redheads were ceremoniously burned to ward off drought. It is believed that Lilith the first wife of Adam was a redhead in the gnostic gospels. Finally it is believed that redheads perform better in the bedroom also false but cannot be loyal.

The number one most common fetish amongst men is redheads. There are men who will only date or pursue redheads because of their reputations.

I have had at least 7 redhaired girlfriends and each one was different some were good lovers and some had no passion at all. Some were kind and patient some were vindictive and selfish.

It's all on the individual. Most of the guys who don't like redheads may also prefer women with darker skin tones as it is pretty difficult for redheads to tan.

You're beautiful if anyone tells you different they are wrong.

By the by my dear wear red it's very becoming for redheads to wear red and any fall color or earth tone. Wear green, black and purple...not at the same time however.

If a guy's not interested in a pretty girl because she dosen't have the right hair colour he's pretty shallow, maybe the reason you don't hear about it very much is because natural red heads are so rare, my best friend is a red head, and she wears red sometimes, personally I don't think it's very flattering, but she has a very unique sense of style.

i have (natural) darker strawberry blonde and golden red hair. since i was little i have people stop me in the streets and fawn over it. i have been asked to be a hair model, and when i was in college, guys were all over me for it.
i know what you mean about the nasty redheads... my guy friends always tell me how redheads are either out of control hot or really ugly.
for real, guys have a serious obsession with red heads. my fiance crushed on me hard in college because of it. we look so much different than everyone else and we are known for being sexy and intense. who wouldnt want that!!??
blondes and brunettes are boring and played out. trust me.
i work for a fashion designer and he wants to use me because of my hair and fair skin coloring.
rock it out!!!!!!

and yes you can wear red! i love wearing a dark deep vibrant teal, navy blue, chocolate brown and a maroon or burgundy.
do it!!

Red hair is gorgeous and I've never heard any guy say they didn't like it. And who said redheads are "nasty"? I've know some pretty nice redheads. And yes, they can wear the color red too.

I've died my hair both light and dark auburn a bunch of times and always got more compliments from people and more attention from guys than my natural light golden brown/chestnut hair. So maybe it's the guys you're with that prefer other colors or maybe your personality isn't what they'd prefer. Not a lot of guys go for haircolor over what you have on the inside unless they're shallow.

(It's not the red I have in it now that I was talking about...this is a bright red rinse. But my husband still likes it.)

I've known guys (that I've been head over heals for) who simply don't find any girls attractive UNLESS they have red hair! So don't fret. I have brown and blonde hair and hate it when I fall for a guy who loves red heads :) And yes, its okay for you to wear red, but be confident and bold about it or it won't look good. One of the prettiest girls I know has red hair and looks fabulous in red!

Guys don't dislike like a girl because she has red hair. Peter Parker loved Mary Jane. She had red hair and it was beautiful. and for the red-shirt with red hair- why not. I have brown hair and wear brown shirts. I know people with black that were black shirts. Blondes can't really wear a blonde shirt, but that's just because they don't really exist. neways So if you want to wear a red shirt-wear a red-shirt. I'm sure you'll look great.
