and i just spend a $100 dollar on him but he is a manager of a store and i make no money at all

That's ok. He wants to buy you something nice cause he wants to make you happy and this is his way of showing he loves you. He knows you don't have money to buy him expensive gifts so he doesn't expect this from you. You don't have to feel guilty or think that he'll think that you should give more. What comes from your heart would means a lot to him. Just continue being a great girlfriend for him, he'll appreciate that. Give him nice surprises like a nice dinner or whatever that he'll think nice.
