Louis by KO round 12. Tyson would run out of gas. Louis was stronger mentally.

Joe Louis was a legend in another era. The Flatfoot King. Prime Tyson vs Prime Louis?

Tyson ko 2. Way too much muscle.

Prime Ali is the only boxer that would have beaten a Prime Tyson. Ali proved he could take many many wicked punches. Prime Forman hit harder than Tyson. Plus, Ali could fight better than anyone on his bicycle. Back Left Right UP Down. Too much movement for Tyson.

Ali KO 8

hey t-man, of your series of questions, i found this one the most intriguing! you just know i'd pick tyson, and why? he outweighed louis by some 30 lbs, was faster, stronger, and had the kind of movement which louis always had a problem with. mike's bob & weave style and peekabo defense and constant punching would have neutralized and annihilated louis fairly quickly. no way would louis have been able to kayo tyson, not with that neck of his, which functioned much like muscular shock absorber. in boxing, as we all know, styles make fights. loius, unfortunately, just didn't have the style to really defeat tyson, he stood in front of his opponent, had no movement, and would not have been able to keep mike off of him. because of the man and the legend, i generously give louis maybe 4 rounds against prime tyson..no more!

all depends how louis takes tysons power.its not fair to to compare the two,as heavyweights in tysons era were bigger and stronger.though louis in my opinion was the better fighter he was only a cruiser weight by todays standards. a fifteen and a half stone tyson would over power the 14 stone louis, but pound for pound louis knocks tyson out in nine rounds.pound for pound louis is the number 2 heavyweight of all time behind ali.

My Tyson bias is properly customary, yet i will you need to be purpose. Joe Louis could have caught Tyson coming in and KOed Mike swifter than the two Lewis or Holyfield did, i individually do not think of Mike could have made it 4 rounds earlier Joe complete him off, and odds are sturdy Joe could have picked off a Tyson bum rush to drop Mike in the 1st around. Tyson steam rolled 2nd fee combatants who have been afraid of him, and overpowered an over the hill Larry Holmes yet have been given his clock wiped sparkling against a point combatants whose skills have been nevertheless intact like Holyfield and Lewis. Joe Louis grow to be a cleanser puncher than the two Lewis or Holyfield, with extra helpful skill than the two one in each of them, incredibly elite even between a point heavyweights Joe grow to be between the suitable technically experienced heavyweights in historic past, an entire kit. Mike in no way beat an a point heavyweight of their top, Joe Louis grow to be stronger to Tyson in each component of the boxing interest, this considered one in each of actuality is a mismatch. without bias/prejudice Joe Louis could win, he grow to be a much extra helpful boxer than Mike Tyson.
