at least it's not not beer!! he'll just rot his teeth rather than his liver!! if you really want him to stop...ask him if he'll at least drink water in between every can..this will make him too hydrated to want the sugar..unless he gets the munchies all the time...

Do not ask him. If he wants to stop, he will. Do not think that you can change a man (or a woman). People do not change.
A good way to give him a nudge is getting fit yourself, and wearing nice clothes, so he'll have more incentives to lay the sugary stuff off. However, if drinking coke is his only problem, you're a lucky woman.

Your boyfriend is me ten two decades in the past.. You can not support him, no longer straight. Convince him to enter a detox application, ideally ninety days or longer, at a minimal 30 days. If he is gotten to the vomiting degree he is just one step clear of wherein I ended up - vomiting blood and finishing up within the clinic, over and over again... the step after that, as you undoubtedly realize is his dying. He demands to be detoxed and adore it or no longer, he demands to get into a few style of application, if no longer AA then every other type of help institution. And you can have to maintain alcohol out of the condo, and stop any consuming you do as good. When I first obtained any truly sobriety - I went to AA conferences every day, regularly greater than every day - you do not ought to speak, however he will have to introduce himself as new and shy if he wishes. First step despite the fact that - a detox application, minimal 30 days as I recounted. If he can not manage to pay for one - determine public well being offerings, so much areas have a number of areas you could keep for the 30 days to months (in a few circumstances a 12 months or extra). I desire you the entire fine - what you are going by way of is terrible. -dh

How your boyfriend chooses to live, what he chooses to eat and drink is up to him. If you are concerned about the amount of coke he drinks for health reasons you could explain those concerns to him and see if he reacts to them by reducing his consumption. However, if you have an otherwise happy relationship, if this is the only thing he does that bothers you, think yourself lucky. there is after all much worse habits he could have.

That may be more than is wise but not untenable, especially for an active young male. If I were you I'd stop worrying about controlling other people's lives and work on your own communication skills.
