Women never believe me when I say this, but a book store like Barnes and Nobels or Books a Million. First, he is smart enough to read. Second, he is more interested in smart women.
I will drink coffee and read while my kids are looking at books. I wasn't looking but actually got approached by a woman while reading. It worked on me anyway!

Meet men for what?
And dont say "dating". Men have caught on to that and it puts them at too much of a disadvantage.
Find some hobbies or sport to engage in.
Heres a lilttle know secret: If u look decent, take care of your body shape and dress well you can get 80% of the men out there by just showing up.
edit - i like the answer below but ive only been approached once at barnes noble and she was hideous, i could see her greasy scalp her hair was so thin and she practically begged me for se.x, she was also about 15-20yrs older than me.
