Navy!

2006-12-10 14:35:46 · answer #1 · answered by FRANKFUSS 6 · 1 0

My husband and son have retired from the Navy. I would say go Air Force. My husband tried to switch but he had over 10 years in at that time and they wouldn't let him. My son has hated being away from his family when he shipped out for 4,6 and 8 mos, at a time.Housing is better for married men and families then Navy. My brother and a bunch of first cousins retired from the Air Force
Good luck and Thank You for serving.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

I would choose the Navy, only because the Air Force seems stuck up to me. I tried to join the Air Force ROTC at my university, and after a week they rejected me. I was forced to sign a paper acknowledging that the reason for the rejection was that I had been caught shoplifting when I was 14, for a value of less than $35. To me, this would be much less harmful to the nation than having all my drunk Air Force friends fly planes, most of whom drink until they pass out because they're stationed in a country where they are legal to do so.

Navy for sure because the navy is more or less like working at a regular job. As long as you do your job nobody bothers you and its a quiet peaceful invorment where you work

The air force is more mental than physical, so depending upon your inclinations, choose air force for relatively ease, and navy for more physical activities.
