I'd have to say Louis takes this one. Louis was a better boxer and just as good a puncher as Liston. Liston had a good jab but Joe had faster hands and would beat him to the punch. Both men would land some good shots but i think Louis' overall skill would be the difference in this fight and he wins via 8th rd. KO.

I agree with Pancho except for the result. Liston would last longer. Louis KO round 11.

Sonny Liston. I used to watch him fight when I was a kid. My grandad and uncle would watch the "Saturday Night Fight ...brought to you by Gillette" and I would sit in with them. Too bad about Liston's life.
