My ex-bf told one of my friends he plans to ask me to go to the semi-formals with him.
I went out with him from last april till this september (so like almost 5 months) and i dumped him before school started. He was a good bf, i just didnt feel attracted to him that way.
We were good friends before and we are now. What do i do when he asks?
If i say yes it might give false hope
if i say no, he will say its just as friends, and its not like i wouldnt go with another guy friend so i dont know.
He has asked me to go back out with him many times after i broke up with him and i couldnt bring myself to go back out, i dont know why its not like there is anything to lose.
What should i do for semi?

If you want to go with him because he's your friend and you think you'll have fun, then do it. If you're worried about him getting false hope just be honest with him. Tell him that you're saying yes becuase he's your friend and you think it will be fun but you have no intentions of getting back together.

i would say if you can go with someone else, do that. it seems like going with him could make things really complicated, especially if he gets the wrong message.
but, if you decide you do want to go with him, make sure he realizes that its really just as friends and dont send any messages that could make him think otherwise,

I think you should go, as friends or whatever it may be. Just go with him and have the time of your life!!! Good luck its gonna be awesome!!!
