Because he is embarassed and has no idea what you will say next. You gave too much information. Leave him alone and give it time. And watch what you say from now on. Everything you know or feel does not and should not be talked about.
Good Luck

The body changes that come with your age bracket is a mystery to young men and women all over the world. This is not a disaster and will pass in time. I would think that your choice of conversation is a little questionable---of all the things to talk about, you talk about your persoal hygiene? It's like people telling everyone they went to take a dump.. Maybe he's avoiding you because you talk about needless stuff. Get a grip and be more interesting when the time comes to talk or say nothing at all. I guarantee this will pass in time ----don't dwell on it.

He's just being immature. Don't worry about it hun. I did the exact same thing a couple of years ago. I told my best friend who was a guy that i had started and that he shouldn't piss me off of anything cuz i didn't feel good and he just gave me a weird look and then walked off. but he started talking to me again a few days later. so ya don't worry about it.

It could be because you blab too much and appear to not be trustworthy. Why in the world at your age did you tell a teenage guy such a thing? Were you advertising that you can get pregnant? Well, aren't you special! Some guys ARE raised right you know! Their parents teach them to avoid girls who are too sexual too early. They don't want to ruin their lives at such a young age. Do YOU!

OMG !
you embarrassed the hell out of him !!
he is still immature and he has every right to be.
what were you thinking??
if you are old enough to have a period you are old enough to have some damn discretion.
The damage is done....just leave him alone for another year or so and this ridiculous event will pass. In the meantime.....
as one girl to another...shut up.
geez is nothing sacred anymore.

Maybe he is not as mature as you are. Some guys may like girls but are just not ready to think of them like women. Maybe he just wants you to be the girl you always were. You could write him a note and tell him to just forget it so you can be friends again. Good Luck!

Boys are so immature. He probably thought that it was gross and he didn't want to talk to you or anything because everytime he talks to you or sees you.. he thinks about bloody tampons. sounds gross.. but it is most likely true. I wouldn't tell that to another boy unless you are about to engage in intercourse and you are on your period.. or you are married.
