This makes you feel like your heart is crushed, but the best thing to do is to give that person a call. The guy obviously likes you and my bet is that he would be willing to give you a second chance once you explain to him that you were shy about his call. Don't give up! Try connecting with him. mostly if somebody asked me out, I would figure it hasn't happened much. I would probably say yes. I have turned down offers of sex though. Depending on what counts, like 6 times.

nnooo.... dont cry or die!!..... yea something like thats happened with me before... i was 2 shy with this guy and we both knew it.... well i told him i was shy around him and sorry for that cause i did like him .... and well i know now too that he likes me and we are actually kinda start all over again ... with NO shyness / gigglin / thirteen year old behavior

next time don't blow the opportunity! they asked you so they must be interested. keep it short and sweet. say "thanks for asking me. i'd like to."
