Depends on what breed the dog is. Dalmatians have large numbers of offspring, other dogs not so much.

Go to dogbreedinfo.com and look at your dog's breed. They have information on litter sizes for each breed there.

It depends on the breed, or mix of breeds. Many larger breeds have lots of puppies (4-8), like labs, Sheppard, pit bulls, basset hounds, etc. Smaller dogs and bulldogs have smaller litters, Boston Terriers often only have 2-3.

Good luck!

Different dogs different litter sizes. If you have a large dog such as a german sheaperd or great dane then 5-12, medium dogs like jack russel to huskey then 3-5 and from that size down to chihuahua then 1-4

I will try to be kind here.
Hopefully you do not have a pregnant dog, because you obviously know nothing about breeding. A true legitiment breeder would know everything about breeding.
And if your dog is not pregnant, how about getting her spayed? That will save a whole lot of trouble for us all.
And if you were just curious, then disregard all of what I have said.

Depends on a lot of factors, small breed dogs have less puppies, and so do first time mothers.

If you have to ask this question, you shouldn't be breeding.
