Less important is how she got started. More important is good reasons for quitting. Do your research first, gather any pamphlets you can, and talk to her. Let her know that you think she has a problem. Let her know that you love her. Let her know that she has options and that you will be there to support her in any way that you can. But let her know that her drug use isn't o.k. with you. If she continues to choose the drugs, then she is letting go of a really good friend- you. Do encourage she get PROFFESSIONAL help to quit. Good Luck!

The best way to help your friend is to take her to some n/a (narcotics anonymous) meetings or A.A. meetings and buy a n/a,A.A. basic text. And read it, so, you're a little better versed on the subject, when you do approach her. Believe me, these 2 books along with meetings will put it out there in plain english. Good luck.

If this is a real post, start by talking to professionals who can offer real help. Look up "drug abuse hotline" on Google or Yahoo and call them to ask the same question. This community is a very poor substitute for trained people.

You should find the side effects so she can see what she is doing to herself.
but i know when i use to do all those drug i didn't give a *** what people said.
its something she os going to have to figure out that is a stupid desicion
if she really wants to quit she will do it on your own.

well you just need to call him/her up and tell them you need to talk to them in person really soon...when you do get together tell them that you know about their drug use...and you are concerned because you care about them and you don't want them to hurt themself...ask them if they know what they are doing to their body....and then give them information and scenarios about what could happen to them...and you need to tell someone who can do something to intervene...your parents or counselor or something
