Were really close. I want to hear his voice, I have nothing to say, I dont even want to talk... should I call him? Or is that weird...?

just friends. if yes then call and ask him something he told yesterday or when you last talk to him if it was today say hey i lost my wallet or credit card ask him what you should do or something like that?

yeah i think everyone feels like and to anyone says thats not true they don't call people that much then. or if you go out tonite crank call him from a pay phone.
or
just tell him i called to say hi well talk to you later

besides whats the worst he could say??

If u are really close and u want to hear his voice call him, but at least say something. He might think it is a prank call or an obsence phone call. It is nice to call just to hear someone's voice. but at least let them know u are on the other end of the phone. Because if u call again and don't say anything he just might hang up or even change his phone number. Even if u just say hi. U can say i just called to say hi, u never know what could come out of it.

If you have nothing to say, call and tell him that.... and that you'd love to listen if he'd tell you how his day went.

That will express your affection and even start a conversation.

No. Don't smother him. If you call with nothing to say, he'll think you're needy and boring.
