Start out by defining what a 'good man' means to you. It means something different to everyone.
Put this definition in your profile as what you are looking for in a man. Spell it out explicitly- bad things happen when people try to read each other's minds or make assumptions.
Try multiple sources of opportunity. Personally, I find Craigslist to be much more useful than dating sites like match dotcom or lavalife. Still, I'd set up a profile on each one of them and I would NOT pay money for any one until you decide it's a site you really like and will work for you. My opinion is that eharmony is bunk- it really didn't work for me and it cost me a lot of money and time.
finally, take a couple of flattering pictures of yourself. You don't have to be dishonest, in fact you should not be. Take that to mean no lousy, grainy, tiny pictures of yourself. (or group shots with you all the way in the back in the corner) Like it or not, the sad truth is that online dating is initially about appearances, then about substance. not the other way around.

There are dating services gallore, but if you are serious about finding a good man, then go to a place that interests you. A gym or ball game or whatever hobby you are interested in. If there is a good man there you may meet one and start talking and then who knows maybe later down the road you will start dating.

Woah! Bit of a daredevil are we? You should NEVER date guys online, or look for a man online...
The guy you meet could be a major drug addict, a child malestor, or even a sex addict or something. Never add guys online u don't know, or give out personal information like that...cuz believe me, u have NO idea what your getting yourself into...

You should be more worried about finding a "real" person, rather than someone "online"
Get out more, volunteer for a charity etc.

http://www.faceparty.com
I think faceparty is the best, its not really a proper dating line but you can defintely meet men on it and its not as cheesy as a proper dating website.
