Start out by writing down a bunch of sentances about how you feel. Try your hardest to explain what you are trying to say accuratly.
You will, at that point, have the rough draft of a poem.
Do not be discouraged if the first five, ten, even fifteen drafts sound awful. Remember, no poem that you see in any book or inscribed on any wall is a first draft. I promise you that.

I find my muse through life experiences such as loneliness or crushes or I just start writing. Heck, I was writing an essay once and it turned into a poem, it's called "What is Love", you should check it out, look it up on poetry.com, the author name is Brian Huesman. Maybe you can find what you want to say by reading it. Or you could rewrite it in your own words or recite it for her, but remember to tell her where you got it from, cause I've got it copyrighted.

before i write a poem, i always have 2 think about the subject 4 a while. then after i have that mastered, i jot down some words that have 2 do with the subject on a peice of paper...so in your case, it would be love words. try to find words that rhyme 2. also no wut kind of poem your doing whether its a couplet, haiku, diamonte, or wutever. after you are finished with that, try to turn it into a bunch of rhyming lines that make sense. then ur gonne have 2 edit it. writing a poem is a lot harder then ya think =p

Just write whatever you are feeling. I find those to be some of my best poems. They don't have to rhyme.

It's best if you write what you really feel from inside your heart.
Write about all the little things she does to make you smile.
what you see and feel by looking into her eye's let her know how
she makes you feel complete and how you be lost without her.
