Could be anything, maybe she's sitting on the toilet reading a magazine, kidnapped by aliens, grouting the tub, or cooking spaghetti.

Depends on the time lapse between each call. If it is somewhat soon after the first call then I don't think anyting of it, however if it's been awhile I'll probably think she just doesn't answer, and if she really was doing something then she would just call back.

I call her home then her cell, I ask her to give me a call when she has a chance. A person may be doing something where she can't get to the phone or may not hear the phone. That is why I leave my message.

i think she is asleep or in the shower or alseep in the shower or something or maybe she left her phone at home on accident or is in a subway tunnel or maybe away from her desk for a smokebreak or her cell phone is dead or she may not be near it or has it turned off for some reason like in a hospital or theater or maybe she is out of range of a cell tower or ......................
