I don't really like lasagna with all that tomato base and ricotta, but my friend gave me a box of lasagna noodles. What can I make? Is there some pie or casserole or smth? Or any non-traditional lasagnas? Thanks!

It may not sound great but its delicious instead of using traditional stuff I make Mexican lasagna.layer like usual but I use seasoned taco meat(beef or chicken both are good) as well as all my favorite taco toppings (;eave the cold stuff for the top) I use Mexican cheeses and my whole family loves it. Not to long ago ran into a recipe that sounded good to I leave ya the link. Good Luck and bon apatite

You can make Lasagna Roll-Ups. You lay out cooked pasta, spread meat, cheese, spinach, or whatever filling down the noodle, then roll up, and stand on a ruffly end (so you see the spiral). Then top w/ a bit of sauce, cover, and bake.

You can also make lasagna w/o tomato sauce, you know... often a vegetarian version w/ riccotta cheese, spinach, and carrots... but I've also seen it w/ chicken and an alfredo or white sauce.

And I suppose you could always cook them, then slice into ½" long pieces and use in a Chicken Noodle Soup or as a side dish w/ butter and garlic.

I've broken them up into bite size pieces and tossed them into homemade chicken soup, or have made a lasagna with alfredo sauce and shredded chicken instead of tomato sauce, and no ricotta (i don't like it either, we use cottage cheese when making our lasgna), it turned out really good.

You could make what some people call lazy man's pierogie. Make the noodles like for lasagna. Then layer them and on top of them put mashed potatoes. You can put cheese on top of the potatoes if you want. Or sauerkraut, then put another layer and keep going like with lasagna. Pour melted butter on it just before you eat it. Onions and butter are excellent too. YUM!

It is only a box of noodles that cost less than $2 so if you don't use it don't worry about it. You could try another recipe and cut the noodles and stuff them with whatever you want and then roll them up and bake them. Experiment, it's fun!

You can make rolls with them. Put meat inside with cheese, then top it off with sauce and whatever you like

You could use it for just about any kind of pasta dish. How about using an alfredo sauce instead?
