Its good that your worried...but you m ight not have to worry too much.
If shes eating, shes probably okay.
I'd talk to her about it. Tell her your worried. If she wont talk about it, or gets really defensive... I'd try taking it a step further and express your worries to her parents. Your friend may be upset with you, but hopefully she'll realize that you've only done it because you care about her.

She's not underweight at all, but the fact that she thinks she's fat is kind of concerning. Don't be too worried about it though: she may just say it for attention, or like a lot of teenage girls she is concerned with her weight.
Also keep in mind that what you may think is "barely" lunch may be the right sized food portion (I'm not saying that you eat too much, but in the U.S food portions tend to be bigger) and she may be used to eating just the right amount.
But keep an eye on the situation and make sure she keeps eating.

I don't think I know of a single teenage girl who has not thought they were fat at one time or another. As long as she is eating, she's probably ok. It doesn't sound like she is underweight. She's probably on the low side of normal weight. When I was 13, I was 5'2" and only 98 lbs. I didn't like to eat a lot at the time. I was thin but, I wasn't underweight.

I am 5'2" and weigh 105 max. I am also 41 yrs old. I eat like she eats but do I think I am fat, no. There may be a definite problem with her self perception and she may need help for an eating disorder. Only a doctor can really tell.

It is possible that she could be on her way to becoming anorexic. If she thinks she is fat at that weight and eating very little, those are warning signs. My sister was anorexic and I watched her get worse. If she has this eating disorder, she will start eating less and less. So, if you see this continue, get help for your friend!

Tough one but if you are genuinely worried about her; I would talk to her mother.
I graduated from high school weighing 68 lbs. I didn't have an eating disorder. I just didn't like to eat but when I did eat; it stayed down.
Talk to her mother.

My friend is the exact same way!
If she is like this, and eating like this evryday, then that is fine, but if she eats anything less than this, then no, you have to find help, and make her eat more.

If she thinks she's fat, that is a problem. I am concerned she may becoming anorexic.
Tell her she isn't fat and that she needs to eat more to be healthy.
