Most farm supply stores carry small flags on wires that can be stuck into the ground at your desired yardage. You could also simply take spray paint and mark the ground!

I pace off from the target and remember the distance. You wouldn't have markers for yardage in the woods,so I don't have the yardages marked.Makes it easier to mow the lawn that way.
If you're not a hunter and just shoot,I'd go with 2x4's in the ground.

I've done it a few ways in the past...but the best way I've found is to leave your target stationary and mark different yard lines with 2" PVC pipe. Get a big hammer and drive em in the ground. I use a 3'-4' piece of pipe and drive it untill it gets tight. This will not only serve as a marker, but a good place to stick your arrows while your shooting.

I shoot in my yard and use small pieces of 2X4 sunk into the ground so I can mow the grass without having to move them. Just cut about 6" and mark the distance with an indelible marker. Works great.

i do not problem with indoor degrees or golf equipment. I both bypass out myself to the vast outside degrees the position this is $7 all day no time decrease or only bypass out to the barren area. Their are 3 indoor degrees i comprehend of. One costs $12 an hour, one costs $10 with a club yet $18 without and the club is $500 each and each and every year. Then we've the significant gun club. $15 an hour for non-individuals, loose for individuals. yet club is pricey. $30 a month, round $four hundred a 365 days not which include the startup costs. not properly worth it except you shoot a lot.

I use PVC caps painted flame orange and sunk into the ground so they stick up an inch. I got tired of remeasuring for the flags and made it permanent. Three inch PVC pipe caps are a buck apiece and flame orange paint is 3.58 at walmart.. I drive equipment over them, mow over them and haven't replaced them in six years. They do get a new coat of paint every spring though.
