well, themonth before christmas and the month after are the best times, The reason is, Before christmas--People trying to get money to spend on Christmas...2.Month after Christmas--Like you said, Flood of unwanted gifts...Good luck and i hope this helps

That is one idea that I'm sure works good. You can also save money by purchasing stuff out of season... ie-- buy a nice jacket during the summer for next to nothing.

Thats not a bad idea. There are those random deal that you can find at all times on ebay. This idea sounds good..
