If your dog is registered with the American Kennel Club. and you have pedigree papers for him. He should be allowed to enter. You can visit any web site like the AKA, or look up Dog breeders, and specific breeds. The AKA who runs the shows have set standards that the dogs are judged on. The dogs colour being one of them. Most shepherds are black and tan, but there are variations. I am not sure that pure white is one of them. If you don't have a document from the AKA that says your dog is a purebred. Then your dog can show off but he can't be a show dog. former Dog breeder.
To BEE!!! where in God's name did you come up with that answer?????? If white is a recognized col or by the AKA, as one that any dog by set standards may be. IE: poodles, Pekingese, sharpai's etc. because LOTS of dogs are white. Then they can enter shows!!!!!!!!!!!
A dog needs 3 things to enter any show.
1) Pedigree papers, registered with the AKA, stating it is a purebred.
2) proof of vacinations, good health etc.
3) The owner must be a member of the AKA

Being the common White GSD breeder isn't a super type of an accomplishment, because of the fact white GSDs are a disqualification. there is likely no element paying greater money for a exhibit astonishing domestic dog. The AKC does now no longer enable white GSDs to be shown. often, a exhibit astonishing domestic dog is individual who intently conforms to the breed prevalent--no count if or no longer they're "prettier" is a controversy of opinion. A domestic dog astonishing domestic dog does now no longer have nicely sufficient conformation to be shown. this could be for any volume of things, like a disqualifying coloration or an risky temperament. incredibly, even nevertheless, for people who like German Shepherds purchase an incredibly one from a competent breeder. do no longer waste you money on a non-prevalent version. (except, of direction, you detect one in a shelter). do no longer help breeders who ignore appropriate to the incredibly breed prevalent. edit: The term "domestic dog astonishing" can mean lots of concerns, based on the breeder. in simple terms ask why a particular canines replaced into as quickly as categorised as a domestic dog. edit 2: You do word that the White GSD isn't a separate breed, ideal? they're purebred German Shepherds, in simple terms one greater coloration. The nicely being statistic you cite is generally from a white GSD breeder attempting to sell their product and would desire to be excited a pair of grain of salt. White GSDs are incredibly new, so there hasn't been time to earnings each genetic ailment they carry. yet there is not any purpose to anticipate that they could be to any extent further in good shape than a relentless GSD. it would desire to frequently be in simple terms the opposite, incredibly, because of the fact white GSDs have been bred from a small inhabitants of consistent GSDs and are just about actual incredibly inbred. edit 3: i'm now no longer "making this all up." i do no longer mean that your canines will incredibly be inbred, I mean that the white GSD began from an incredibly small gene pool. in case you come a pair of generations, all of them have an analogous ancestors. that's what motives the diverse genetic nicely being issues in puppies, and the disadvantage could be compounded in white GSDs. Intentional breeding of white GSDs began interior the Nineteen Nineteen Seventies, so there have not been many generations yet--because of the fact of this ultimate 57 illnesses have been placed to this element. additionally, the yank White German Shepherd affiliation is an team of breeders attempting to sell white GSDs. Any understanding you get from them would desire to be biased.

they are nto reconized in the big shows becuase they are seen as a fualt or "bad throw" as to the person who said no white dogs are allowed that is false since some breeds only come in white or that is a main color. there are smaller dog shows that it coudl be shown in but not and kennel club shows. However, the whites are now being reconized as a "SEPERATE" breed called the " American White Shepard". look here at this website. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/germanshepherd.htm

AKC does not accept white GSDs for conformation showing (but are ok for obedience, agility, and other performance showing), but UKC does.

FYI: White dogs of other breeds are accepted, if that is the/an accepted color: Samoyeds, Great Pyrenees, etc.

It's ***ALLOWED***!!! Please, use the SPELL CHECK button!

IF you'd get off this stupid site & go to the AKC site ,you'll find **ALL** the BREED STANDARDS! Including that for GSDs,which will TELL you the ALLOWABLE/ACCEPTABLE colors.

That's what BREED STANDARDS are FOR!
