There is no specific culture of Canada, you need to go deeper and define culture by the different races of people that live in this country, Starting with our Native culture, wich is rich in art and history, French culture, english culture, all asian cultures, euopean cultures, and so forth. That is what makes this country so wonderful is how diverse and accepting of all cultures and respecting everyones individual traditions and beliefs. Eceryone has contributed to our canadian culture and made us what we are today..

Being Canadian is being proud of our culture of origin (After all we are all immigrants here, even the First Nations People) and embracing and respecting the diverse cultures of the people of Canada. Canadians revel in their differences rather than their similarities.

Sports that have a huge following or that are unique to Canada are hockey (NHL.com huge) Curling (throwing large shuffleboard rocks down a sheet of ice and sweeping in front of them with a broom to control their speed and direction) and Canadian Football (CFL.ca) which is similar to American football, but played on a much larger field and only has 3 downs.

Uniquely Canadian Foods are rare but would include Arctic Char, Poutine (french fies with cheese curds and gravy), Maple Syrup, Ice Wine, Wild game like Elk, Caribou, Deer and Buffalo. Canadians also swear by their Tim Horton's Coffee. It is a Canadian Coffee chain that dominates the fast food industry in Canada.

Canadians also seem to be proud of and brag about their hardships. We seem to be proud of the fact that where ever we live it is colder than anywhere else. Don't you dare claim you have more mosquitoes than us we will just laugh at you and boast about some poor child being carried off by a swarm. We boast about how great and strong our Canadian Beer is and then by a case of American Budweiser.

Hope some of my ramblings have helped
Gary

If your writing skills in your paper are as bad as in your question then you may not be in a good position.

I usually don't like to be nitpicky but when the mechanics make the statement difficult to read then it is really annoying.
