Ive started working out everyday, last August. I lost 5 lbs (im now 95 lbs and my height is 5'1) I was so happy that i trimmed down my waist to 25 inches, but the problem is, i lost my nice and round butt. Actually, it got leaner. I included lunges in my daily work out. I want to have a nice, firmer or rounder butt without expanding my waistline. Should i lessen my lunges or squatting work out? How often should i do it? DO i have to gain back some weight again??? THanks

Ok, first of all you don't want to work out the same muscle group every day. You need to allow your muscles a chance to heal. When you work muscles with resistance exercises (weights), tiny tears in the muscle occur that take a few days to heal. You should only work out a muscle group no sooner than every three days or so.

That being said, squats, leg presses and lunges are excellent for building the bum (gluts). Try some variations on those - for squats and presses, go down further in the movement and that will target the gluts more. So if you're squatting, squat down further, at least where your thighs are parallel with the floor, and that'll utilize your gluts more. Also try with a wider than shoulder width stance and really squeeze your gluts when coming up.

Keep reps below 12 to build the muscle, and go to failure. As a woman, you don't need to worry about getting big muscles like a guy, so hit it pretty hard if you want to (make sure your form is correct or else you risk injury). 8-12 reps 3-4 sets each would be optimal. Reduce the long cardio sessions as well (if you must do cardio, try going more intensily for shorter time). Make sure you're getting enough protein, at least 1 gram per pound of bodyweight.

Be sure to also get plenty of rest.

Good luck and great job on trimming down healthily! I'm sure you look great as it is now.

squats are the nice recreation irrespective of what your objectives are. ensure you do deep squats or so much of your paintings will likely be out of your quads (most sensible of your legs) move rather low to get extra paintings out of your hamstrings and glutes however no bouncing or you'll get into quandary along with your knees. nutrition is the whole thing, when you've got extra fats for your butt upload a few aerobic after your squats. lunges and mendacity leg curls also are exceptional sporting events

First , to get the butt in shape, u need to do some leg stretches outwards and bring knee in toward belly and then leg back toward butt, this tones butt.
Stop the squat stuff, U need to exercise every other day instead of every day which will make u sore, U need the day u dont exercise to build the muscles.
U definely need to gain weight and get more muscle toned.

everyday, 20 squats nice and slow, after the last down hold it with a slight bounce for a count of 20. Do the same with lunges, one leg at a time, hold it for 20 then switch to the other leg. You will feel it and if will lift your butt real quick.

Constantly. Don't stop. If you get hungry, have someone bring food while you continue. If you get tired, go to sleep while someone else moves your body around to continue the exercises. Good luck.
