omg im going thru the same thing right now with my 2 year old. I just got to the point where I moved and packed away anything breakable or that would hurt him.
I have coome to learn he will make a mess and that's just how it is.
My house doesnt get cleaned or straightened that day, then it gets done the next day and I have to be ok with it.
Its a little kids job to explore and touch and stuff.
And the whole no thing, is part of the age too, although i can't wait til my sons over his no stage
good luck

TRuly, there is no way to stop a 21 year old, as they are going through the dredded terrible two years. Also, you may have a badseed. There are some who are rotten at 2 and some who are bad and rotten at two. Spankings wont work though as they will do it again like my 23 month old nephew does. The killing part is, they know it's wrong what their doing at this age, becuase when I get my nephew for doing stuff wrong, he hides the evidence, runs, and/or laughs. Try to kep him occupied with something he likes. Keep all the stuff you dont want him to mess with where he cant reach it.

It will final a different 12 months or 2. I have a 24 month historic. What I've found out is the significance of child-proofing. Luckily now we have a complete wall of constructed in e-book cabinets and the whole thing that we do not wish her to contact (handbag, cellphone telephones, remotes, candles, and many others) is going up prime on our cabinets. You need to preserve plenty of toys and child pleasant models round too. If my daughter goes after some thing she wouldn't have I pull out one in every of her toys and say "Look at this honey." Anything you do not wish dropped or damaged you need to submit. Use child gates or construct cabinets should you need to. Touching matters is how all toddlers be taught. You went by way of the identical degree your self. Remember that.

You need spend time with him playing. Redirect him to positive activities. He sounds like a typical 21 month old.
Perhaps it is time to hit the book store or library for some reading material on parenting. Loosen up! Kids make a mess.

You need to baby proof your house. This includes putting things up that can hurt your child. Glass objects, sharp objects, get child guards for cabinets and plugs, get a gate for the stairs. When he ignores you, just pick him up and put him in a corner or his crib for a few minutes. He will then start associating ignoring you with something unpleasant.

He is right at the age that he want to explore everything in sight I would spank mines hand lightly and tell him no, no. Did do any good not much, he'll finally grow out of wanting touch and hold everything that catches his eye.
I bet he is a little doll.

Slap him gently on the wrist, get down to his level, and tell him no. Then if he does it again, send him to a room of the house where there are no toys etc, and tell him he can come out when he thinks he can behave.

My son is 2 and it used to get to me when he would pull everything out, want all his toys not just one. In the end up i couldn't cope with running round after his little bum cleaning toys away. So we both just sit and play and i clean up when he is in bed or the next day even.

Just relax a little bit, you are going threw what everyone else who has or has had a toddler has gone threw, or is going threw. All that your saying is normal. Think, where do you think the phrase came in of terrible two's?
