It varies with their educational level directly.
Those that have college degrees or spent time aboard can speak without Nigerian accent, really . But in general, there are two main accents commonly heard. The first one is almost like caribbean which you hear over local radio or TV broadcast. The second one is more like pidgin, which is like broken english. It resembles the ***** english during the slave era. ( This is more common due to the poor education recieved by many Nigerians, still )

In Nigeria there are over 450 separate languages. How a Nigerian speaks English depends on the level of education, what language was the first spoken and heard, what part of the country, did the individual get a chance to study outside the country, do they have a good ear?

Just as there is no such thing as "an" American accent, so there is no single Nigerian accent.

If you need to do one, you can try to be very English, and then add a touch - a very small touch - of Jamaican, and you'll pass.

that's stupid. human beings are human beings born interior the u . s .. not genuinely all of us stepping foot in this soil of u . s . or born in this u . s . are eu-descent. Even the Mexicans have some Spain-spanish because of the fact they have been natives yet Spain invaded them and for this reason their epidermis colour looks the way it does. yet there are nonetheless some that are very nearby-blooded and a few that at the instant are not rather. that is all a mixture of genetics. My guy lives until on the instant and is an element nearby American, so no, they did not kill all of them.... maximum human beings tell Mexicans to return to their very own u . s .. If a muslim is traveling right here and that they say that, that's purely the yankee being rude and that is greater American to be accepting of yet another faith. u.s. is a melting pot and we could consistently be accepting, yet many Christian human beings at the instant are not accepting of alternative faiths. might they like it in the event that they have been given a loose holiday to France that I or some interest tutor paid for basically for a france nearby to declare to them "pass back to u.s.?" what might you do?
