Yikes, the biscuit/egg doesnt sound like it would work...sorry, it seems like the timing would be off...HOWEVER... Syrup for your french toast: Put 1 cup syrup in a pan, add 3 tbs butter, then peel & cube 3 apples & let the apples (or pears) simmer in the syrup for ten minutes. YUM-O, and they'll be so impressed

i made a big breakfast for my family the other day and i am new to cooking on my own without step by step instructions myself. I used those pillsbury dough biscuits but it should work with homemade type as well. I peeled cut and boiled about 4 medium brown potatoes. Then i placed the biscuit dough on the bottom of a greased glass casserole dish. I used a round one but it wouldn't really matter. Then i scrambled 6 eggs with a little bit of milk in a bowl and poured some of it over the biscuits. I also had cooked up some bacon and crumbled it over the dough and eggs. Then i layered some of the boiled potato pieces over the top..then more egg...then more bacon..more potato..the rest of the egg and bacon and then placed it all in the oven at 400 ...i left it about 20 minutes then sprinkled cheese over the top and put it back in for about 15 more minutes...After it was done i sliced it on plates and added fruit salad on the side...it was delicous everyone LOVED it and it was really easy!!

Good for you! The only way to learn is to get in there and try it!
You know, I think I would have EITHER biscuits OR French Toast, not both... eggs will go with either dish, but they are both starches, and I think it will just be too much.
You can use biscuit dough to make little cups in a muffin tin. Spray w/ nonstick spray (Pam). I would scramble the eggs and cook them slightly (curdled, but still a bit runny) before putting eggs in the hollow of the biscuit cup you make. Then bake according to biscuit directions. You could also top the eggs w/ a bit of shredded cheddar before baking.
I think if you do Apple Crumble and Biscuit/Egg Cups, all you need to add is a meat of some sort: ham, Canadian Bacon, or bacon, maybe.

I'm not much of a cook, but I'm pretty sure about my answer. The inside of the dough balls will not cook, the egg will keep them too wet and I think the egg will just kinda get hard. Even If it does work it won't taste too good. What you should do is cook the biscuits with out the eggs in them. Cook the eggs how your parents would like them (scrambled/ poached/ fried), then cut the biscuits in half and place the eggs inside. when I do that I like to add a little maple syrup to add some flavor/ sweetness. It is my Favorite breakfast, so your parents will probably like it. =) ENJOY!

The buiscuts won't stay in the right shape at they expand as they bake, however you could cook the buiscut normally and then cut it into a bowl shape, then cook the eggs seperately and put them in.
Breakfast tacos (The way my dad makes them):
1 egg per taco
1/4 cup salsa, the kind your parents like the best
Also, about a handful of chips, a handful of cheese, and a tortilla.
Put all the ingridents together in a bowl, except the tortillas. Crush the chips. Mix it all together in a medium bowl and cook in a medium saucepan on medium heat (haha) for 5-10 minutes until the eggs are cooked, stirring occasionally. Once they are done, put in the tortilla and BAM! Your'e done. Hope I'm as helpful as I'm trying to be.

lol If you are not experienced in the kitchen, then why try to start off making difficult meals? The bisquits and french toast are easy enough, but the eggs....why not go with simple scrambled eggs? Then you can doctor them up by adding mushrooms, green peppers, and cheese. Hint...do not add the cheese until the eggs are almost done, then scoot them over to the side and place the cheese directly on the skillet, THEN stir and mix the cheese and eggs. Good luck!

I would just keep everything simple, that way you will be fine in the kitchen and know that everything will work the way you want it too.
How about
1.French toast cooked on low heat to golden brown with a side dish of syrup or jam
2.Cut fresh fruit, oranges, strawberries, slivered apples, sliced melon, watermelon - what are their favorite fruits?. You feel great in the morning if your loved ones prepare you slices of their favorite fruit.
3. any kind of juice, tea or coffee
4. A big smile and a good morning surprise
5. maybe even a little flower to add to the touch

You could also make some fruit pancakes. Easy to do and delicious, and baked beans if you're really into it and wish to have a bit of music with your parents later in the day! LOL...
Your thought is wonderful dear Heart. Your parents must love you very much and be proud of you.
No matter how good a cook you are, please do it. They'll be thrilled!
Good luck
