I am 13 and she is13 as well. I want to get her something nice but, not to make myself look desprate.

Maybe some lotion and/or lip balm or lip gloss.
Does she have a cell phone or anything she could put jewelry on, etc.?
I would definitely get her something she could use.

You should give her something you and her have as a special relationship, or you could get her some nice looking jewelery.
