I've been dating this guy for about a month and a half now and we haven't even gone out on a date yet... but i've already given my heart to him. but he hasn't seemed to even want to go out on an actual date rather than hanging out at his house where his entire family is and he always has friends over. I keep telling him that i want to go on a real date you know dinner and a movie or w/e but we just keep hanging out at his house and pretty much doing nothing... I love being around him but i wish we would actually go on a date where its just the two of us
any advice?

Why have you "given your heart" to a guy who won't take you out, and you've only been seeing for 6 wks anyway? That's typically how long it takes for people to decide if they want to date continually or not...giving ones heart is WAY premature, especially since you aren't even happy with the situation.
Let him know you want more than hanging out with his family, and if he won't oblige, then move on. I don't think you are really "hearting" him so much as you apparently are settling and trying to convince yourself he'll be fine.

At this point you may care for him deeply, but since he does not even want to commit for a date i would be hesitant to say he has your heart since you have not spent the requried time alone. before you commit any more to this relationship demand a date. say you want to be boyfriend and gilfriend, not just friends. at his point i would not say you are dating yet. you seem to still be in the talking stage..so talk ..and if needed talk loudly in his ear.

well, u need to sit him down and get him to talk seriously, its possible thats he simply nervous or not ready for a true relationship like that. stick it out a bit longer, ask his firends if they know anything. if everything stays the same then back off for a while, find someone else and let him come to u when he's ready.

some people want to determine that you're not dating them just 'cause you're physically attracted. If he can see that you like him not only because of, say, his smashing good looks and his appealing physique, then he'll date you privately. but maybe first he wants to know that you like him because he's interesting and can have comfortable conversations with you...

He prefers to have you at home because it the safest place for him...... It's probably the way you're saying...say it like you mean it, throw a tantrum just to get him out of the house!!!
