He broke up with me to go out with another girl, and she broke up with him today. one of my friends, and his too, said that he called him crying today b/c he realized he made a big mistake for breaking up with me. the friend told me that the only other time he's seen him cry was when his grandpa died. my ex asked the friend to ask me if i believed in second chances. i told him not any time soon. he really broke my heart b/c i really cared about him. my moma says she'll kick my butt if i go back out with him. what should i do?

I would say wait a month or two and see if he really means it (and if you really want him at that point). Just because he got dumped, is hurting, and wants someone to make him feel better doesn't mean you should take him back. After all, he apparently didn't think much about *your* feelings when he dumped you. So he deserves to suffer a bit.
But, on the other hand, people do make mistakes. Wait until emotions have settled down on both sides then reconsider.

Listen to your heart, not what other people want you to do. If you still care then maybe give him another chance, if not then move on. Take it slow this time around and don't get too serious too soon. Feel him out to see how he really feels about you and if he's in it for the long haul this time around. People do make mistakes but, if he does it again (breaks your heart) then you know he's not the one for you.

No you should not go back out with him. There was a reason why he broke off with you. He went out with another girl, and she broke his heart, and he wants to come back to you. I would not go out with him again because what makes it different this time. There was a reason why he broke up with you. By going out with him the 2nd time wont make a deference because it might not work out the 2nd time. What happens he breaks up with you the 3rd. time. What are going to do if that happens. So find someone who will appreciate you for who you are, and just be friends with him, and if he can't do that let him go. Remember that it doesn't matter what he tells you he will find someone else while dating you.

Listen to your mom of course!! Because no matter how you try to go around them MOTHERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!... But I personally think you shouldn't take him back. And just because he's crying doesn't make him sorry. He should have thought about how you felt when he just dropped you for her. So now he is getting his just deserts. But it's your decision if you plan to to take him back be my guess but I I'm going to leave you with this... If you take him back just know that if he broke your heart once he will end up hurting you again int he long run... So please make the right choice.

Of course not. I have been in the same sitituation for over 10 years! and I am not with him now. I love him more than any other guy that I have been with.It is not to late to be freinds again if you both can just be friends unless you want to waste a lot of your time on b.s. And just remember you broke up for a reason just remember that.

I believe you should go with your heart. Do you think he really realizes what a mistake he made. Or do you think he just doesn't want to be alone. But if you really miss him go ahead and give him another chance.

Sounds like he has trouble being single. Give him time to be alone for a while, and if you still have an interest in him after a couple of months, then take him back.

Don't go out with him again, any guy who left you for another girl is a jerk, If you start dating him again, he'll blow you off the same way he did before and you will end up heartbroken. Try to forget about him. Good luck
