cats are considered "senior citizens" when they are over 7 years old. But there are more and more cats now that live beyond 20 years old, depending on how the cat is cared for and the cat's natural health (no underlying medical conditions). So your 11 year old kitty is a senior kitty and deserves a lot of respect.

Is 60 years old for a human? That's your cat's age in human years.
Certainly the cat needs regular exams by the vet to detect some senior cat problems before they get out of hand. With good health care cats can live to a fairly great age.
My can was just euthanized two weeks ago at 22 adn 1/2. That's about 105 in human years.

It is old for a cat. I have a cat that will be 20 in March. Guinness world records shows the oldest cat was 34 years old.

No, 11 years old isn't very old for a cat at all.
Many cats can live up to 22 years old and even older! My grandma's Siamese lived up to be 26 years old.
Your cat is "old" at around 15-17 years old.

NO NOT AT ALL if he or she still plays and all that happy stuff then the cat is REALLY a kitten but in all reality 11 years old is about mid age 15 -18 years is old thanks alot bye

It's getting there!! Most cats I have had through the years lived to be about 12 to 15 years. With good care and nutrition they are pretty rugged and a hell of a good friend..

Its older, but not really that old, for a cat. I had a brother and sister that lived to be 19 and were healthy until pretty much right before they passed on. So you have many more years left in your purring furball.

Not really.I have cats who are 15,17,and 19 -years -old.Of course genetics plays a role,just as it does in humans,so some cats age faster than others.
