I believe you are referring to the children among us, since adults have long since stopped growing. The percentage of us that are children(and are thus still growing) is approximately 24%, world wide. The other two answers are totally wrong, since far, far more of us are growing than the paltry 1.1-1.3% of us that is quoted above.
