The only time you need to be concerned is if you suspect he is not paying your taxes AND if he is withholding this from your paycheck. Even then it is not really a problem so long you can file your taxes early next year, it is his problem if he has paid nothing to the IRS.
Being that it's that time of the year anyhow, you might just wait until you get your w-2's and file your taxes normal because the IRS will go after him. If you have not received your W-2's by January 31st, call the IRS but do remind your boss before the end of January that you need your w-2's.

If, however, your boss is NOT withholding any money from your paycheck for taxes, then you need to start looking into filing form 1099 quarterly, and you need to pay that to the IRS.
