Yahoo chat has rooms for depression...but I warn you, sometimes it can make it worse. Chat people can be harsh, uncaring and just plain mean! Enter with caution! Depending on your depression, medication and therapy might help. Don't rule it out...try it and if it doesn't work then try different meds or a different therapist. Exercise and eating right also helps with depression. I have dealt with depression my whole life so I can relate!

I'm sure there's a legitimate site out there somewhere, but I'd steer clear of chat rooms for help with depression and issues of that sort. I'd seek professional help if I were you.

As a intellectual wellbeing official with 20+ years revel in, now retired, I can let you know that speaking with different depressed folks is as positive for you as speaking with some other individual. Sometimes it really works. Sometimes it does not. I will say, nonetheless, that "agieagieagie22" 's reply is NOT a always a well one. A whilst again I went to the melancholy chat line right here on Yahoo, and I used to be flabbergasted on the harsh feedback I noticed going from one individual to a different and the blatant, vulgar, sexual recognition of the room. That is NOT what is wanted, and I might now not feel what I used to be studying. I will say additionally that I'm now not a tablet promoter, which means that melancholy is anything that may be labored by way of with out treatment, and to mention this can be a "chemical imbalance", as used to be stated above, is this type of trite and naive system to the answer. Any and all feelings or moods are "chemical imbalances" while measured towards the chemical "balances" beforehand measured. As ideas, feelings and behaviors difference, so does the chemical "steadiness" or array of your frame, so, to make use of that excuse as a intent to head get tablets misses the mark ENTIRELY. An older psychiatrist I labored with opening in 1979 and on by way of 1980-anything constantly gave his sufferers an excessively useful habits to comply with, and I concept "how old fashioned and 'adorable' " it used to be, till I noticed the outcome. He could inform his sufferers to head for a stroll four or five occasions per week, opening slowly till your frame "loosened up" after which decide on up the speed a little bit so you'll consider your center and lungs deciding upon up the strain a little bit. Then, after a slight time, at any time when consistent with the sufferer's wellbeing and wish, start slowing down as you approached residence or your opening factor in order that your muscle tissues would not have an inclination to cramp. He constantly stated to under no circumstances connect a chore to this stroll, similar to running your puppy or going to the shop for anything small, or running with anyone else who desired to head with you. Just get out and stroll four or five occasions per week consistent with your frame's expertise and satisfaction. He stated if our sufferers did that, we might be into bankruptcy, however he knew that almost all would not do anything so useful when you consider that they desired a complicated prognosis and an costly prescription, without reference to how so much that went towards typical feel. He used to be correct, ninety nine.nine% of the time. We truthfully had an excessively small quantity of sufferers who adopted his, and later my, recommendation, and had been cured with out treatment. I could invite you to become a member of the ones .one million% of sufferers who had been clever ample to do as he endorsed. If you desire out of melancholy, there it's. If you desire a complicated prognosis and costly prescription(s) you'll ***** approximately, good, you understand how to get that too. God Bless you.
