is everyone just trying to validate their beliefs? are we trying to learn from others beliefs, or defile others with our statements?

They are real to me except yours. Yours seem fake.

Yes buddy, it is all real! People are truly speaking from their hearts and Yahoo answers has made it possible! I find it to be pretty much interesting. I get to experience what others are thinking whether it is positive or negative and it educates me as of how the people in this world see others and even of the Holy Spirit that made us all, " God." Because I know that some are on this earth for Honor and some is for dishonor, then I then try to focus on giving positive truth of life in general and not based on my emotional, selfish thoughts without understanding.

A little of both cliff.

Some actually want to know what others think.

Many are just looking for someone to support the preconceived notions that they come here with.

Be a seeker, not closed minded.

Love and blessings Don

I'd like to say six of one, and half dozen of the other...but I'm afraid the ratio is more like 1 out of ten are "real"...the rest, well, try to be patient with the rest.
I just keep answering, trying to be as honest as I can, keep a sense of humor, and not let my feelings get hurt or give in to the temptation to lash out emotionally.
I find it helps if I avoid questions obviously meant to belittle my faith......

Occasionally, all of the above for me. Personally, I try to avoid the last one, but it happens. Sometimes, I just want people to agree with me. A lot of the time, I want to learn more. I like learning. It doesn't hurt. :)
