Maybe he has a point. You can see if the makeover he wants doesnt involve permanent changes such as plastic surgery, and then try it out in private. See if you like the change. If not, then it is better to avoid this man. At your two ages, makeup shouldnt be the point of attraction, as you have already gone through this long ago. I think he is trying to get a control over your personal likes and attitudes, and you should move on. You dont always live for others in these personal matters.

Forget this jerk. Are you so horrible that you have to be re-done? What about him? Bet he's looking his age. 45 is young. Go for a YOUNGER guy - they're funner and they don't expect you to act young, because the reason they like you is older women have confidence and know what men are like. Dump gramps - he's not worthy of you. Have fun.

So, an old man is telling you that you need a makeover?

When is he going in for HIS makeover?

I don't believe that a guy should tell a woman how to dress or how to wear their makeup. If you are going to do it, do it for yourself not him. If you want to do it, if you feel you need a new look, if not then tell him that you're happy with yourself how you are.

Sounds like the making of a control freak to me.

If he can't find the beauty that you've described others have seen in you...seems like too much trouble to have to deal with.

Find someone who harmonizes with where you find your happiness.

Tell him to get lost, he is trying to make you into what he wants not what you are, and it sounds like you are satisfied with the way you are and you should be...so tell this joker to move on..you will have a lifetime of doing what he wants and it will never be enough.........

Lose him. It's obvious he wants the makeover for his benefit and not yours. Unless he's offering it to you for your sake and for fun, but I doubt it. He doesn't think you are good enough for him as you are. Go find someone who will appreciate you for you and not how much you can change to please him.

You are probably attractive and he believes you would look more attractive if you'd wear make-up.Is it time to take a look at your old self image and update it?If not, ignore it,but if you are openminded, why not try something new?

Do you want a makeover? I think that is your answer. Don't do it for the guy.
