I'm thinkin about getting them. my mom is always complaining about having them all over the yard, and she suggested them... I just wanted to know if there are any downsides to them.

me and my friends use them, and we have yet to see any downsides. We also hypothesize that they are starch-based and therefore editable as well

the bio BB's are fine and there shouldn't be any real problems with them, they're usually made as well as if not better than most plastic bb's but don't expect them to break down any time soon. if you need them to break down fast i don't think it'll happen they take a *long* time. it's like biodegradable styrofoam. it'll break down but it'll also be faster to pick em all up and throw em out.

i wouldn't waste the extra money on them unless you're going to play at a field that requires them.
