On my neck rite above my shoulder i have always had this bump i felt in there, in the last day or two uit has grown a little bit bigger and is visibly noticable, it kind of feels like a ball. What is it and when will it go away?

my sister had a bump like that, when she went to the doctor they told her it was an infection but that it should go away by itself.
it did and it was nothing big, but u should go check a doc just to b sure

Could be any of a number of things. It depends on whether you've had any other symptoms with it, such as fever, night sweats, weight loss, fatigue. It could be as simple as an enlarged lymph node because you've had a recent illness, or it could be as bad as cancer. If you haven't ever had it checked out by a doctor, even if you feel like you're completely free of symptoms, my advice would be to have it checked out. If you have had it checked out and it's changing, and you're concerned about it, have it checked out. If it's cancer, for example, it's better to find out earlier than later.

I'm 13 and i had it around when i was 4-6 years old. It can be many things. Mine was my lymph node's swelling up because i had mono.

probably its just a simple lump in the neck brought about by enlargement of thyroid glands..

sounds like your lymph nodes that could be very serious see a doctor
