I love the Californian accent, especially the way how the surfer dudes talk they just sound so laid back and relaxed. It puts a smile on my face =)

American accents can annoy me - britney spears's accent drives me nutty. I really have a luton accent it really is quite common so perchance thats why i dont like human beings accent that a lot.

That would depend on the individual. I have friends from England and a former girlfriend from England and they never said anything about it but there are different types of California accents. Someone from San Fran doesn't sound like someone from the SB valley.

I have a family friend who lives in Cali and his accent is nice. He's no Valley Girl and he's too old to say 'Whatever'.

He has a sweet, polite way of speaking and being called 'ma'am' always cracks me up!

The accent is lovely, the short staccatto sentences are not.

It's not so much the accent, it's more the unnecessary use of words which is "like sooo" annoying. If you're language and grammar is good, then it's quite refreshing

All sounds the same. No variation like Cockney, Scouser, Brummie, Manc, Geordie etc. The only accent I hate is the deep south. Its so annoying and horrible sounding.
