I honestly feel that it is more prevalent in older people I would not say they are more racists. I think the younger generation just has more tollerence for it since they are going up more where everyone has equal rights. There is racism I don't think society will ever get away from that someone will always feel that they are being brought down because or racism.

I have to agree with Sassy, all people are different . But I do believe that there are more racist people over 45 than under 45. Although it is wrong for racist people to act the way they do, sometimes and some cases it is almost not their fault, their parents brought them up that way, but as they grow older and learn for them selves they should see that it is wrong to judge someone from the color of their skin.

Honestly, I think it depends on the way people were raised. I think you'll find less racism and bigotry in general in the more educated population. But if someone's parents and grandparents were both racist, I think it's more likely the younger generation will be to.

I'm not racist... I hate everyone!!! Just kidding. I think everyone should be treated the same. When one race demands special treatment, that makes me mad no matter if it's my own race or not. Can't we all just get along. By the way, I'm not 45 yet.

Nope I'm over 45 and I have never cared about skin color, religious preferences, sexual lifestyle when it came to my friends. But I was TAUGHT to not be racially biased. People usually ARE racially biased because they were taught to be. Hatred is a LEARNED emotion, one is not born with the ability to hate ANYONE.
