One of Time's Best Inventions of 2006 is a hypoallergenic cat. Allerca creates mixed-breed cats that are tested and comes with a 1-year money back guarentee. It's available in 2007, can you afford to wait? The website to learn more is allerca.com.

Some people are less allergic to certain breeds. For example, I've heard of a lot of people who aren't allergic to Bengals (the striped one in my picture, though most are spotted like a leopard). However, I've seen mention of other breeds, and there are people who are allergic to the Bengals.

The reason most people are allergic to cats is because they clean themselves with their tongue and their saliva gets on their fur. This causes dander and that's what people are allergic to. If you want a cat and are willing to give it a weekly or bi-weekly bath, you will find that your problems will be diminished greatly. Call a local vet and ask them about this.

Funny thing cat allergies. Did you know that it maybe a certain cat you are allergic to. I am allergic to cats with white or orange coloring and kittens. Pay attention to what cats you react to and what cats you don't you may find that your not allergic to all cats

Yes, it's possible. Different cats have varying amounts of allergens, depending on several factors. I have 2 domestic short hair cats, and my boyfriend is very allergic to one, but not at all to the other.

Usually people who are allergic are allergic to their hair. So a hairless cat is not allergic.

Yes, you can read all about them and get on reserve list at this website http://www.allerca.com/html/pricingreserve.html. They cost $3500 and come with a variety of perks (claws caps, etc.). I guess this would be great for someone who has always wanted a kitty but couldn't have one becuase of allergies. There is a money back guarantee on your kitty. Good luck!
